It is our pleasure to invite you to Warsaw to STEM Educator Academy – a joint conference of Intel and European Schoolnet, organized in partnership with European Union Contest for Young Scientists, the University of Warsaw and the Copernicus Science Centre.
We are pleased to announce that this year’s conference will act as closing event of inGenious - the European Coordinating Body in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Education - a joint initiative launched by European Schoolnet and the European Roundtable of Industrialists (ERT) aiming to reinforce young European's interest in science education and careers and thus address anticipated future skills gaps within the European Union. The General Assembly for ECB members only will be held on Wednesday, 24th of September, following the STEM Educator Academy.
During this year’s Academy we will also have the pleasure to share with you the results of two major Intel and European Schoolnet’s joint projects, which we have been working on over the past year: European Science Fairs Evaluation Framework and Skills Mismatch in STEM report.
Ahead of us we have three days of speeches, presentations, workshops and knowledge exchange in the marvelous capital city of Warsaw. As inGenious also organizes its 9th workshop for teachers simultaneously, we will have ample opportunities to share experiences with invited teachers and also we will get the opportunity to meet with excellent students participating in the 2014 EUCYS contest.
During these Warsaw events our main priority will be to openly discuss the changing ways of STEM education in Europe and beyond and anticipate on future calls for action as identified over the 3 years of the inGenious project. We are expecting a heated discussion and very much invite you to be a part of it.
Looking forward to welcoming you in Warsaw,
